Full Stack Software Engineer

IQVIA's Channel and Specialty Data Services group specializes in supply chain analytics and master data management for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries via our full-stack, software as a service application. We have agile software development teams consisting of development, testing and product, each supporting distinct sets of customers.

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer who is looking to contribute in a fast-paced, data intensive environment. The ideal team member has a passion for software development and data management and is willing to learn new skills. Our teams are responsible to process data using SQL and stored procedures and then enrich and report that data to our customers through our web based on demand reporting platform, ValueTrak. Our cross-functional teams cover diverse subject matter and technical domain. These teams range from 6-10 people so strong communication and collaboration skills are a must!

What You'll Do:

• Coding of data intensive applications.
• Solution plan and vetting of large scale/multi part enhancements.
• Writing database queries and stored procedures with complex relationships.
• Debugging platform as part of troubleshooting.
• Code reviews as a part of the software development lifecycle.
• Languages used include Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL , HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React, ColdFusion, Java, C# and others

Your Background:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of hands on experience developing software applications.
• Interest in solving data intensive problems
• Ability to create and performance tune SQL queries and procedures
• Experience designing relational database systems.
• Awareness of other database technologies
• Preference to work in a cohesive team
• Experience assessing customer needs and breaking down assignments into separate tasks.
• Proven history of communicating technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Experience mentoring others in development practices.
• Five or more years as a professional developer/programmer.

New York State Pay Transparency : The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $119,000.The actual salary will vary based on factors like candidate qualifications and competencies.
