The Opportunity

For our innovative Adobe Experience Manager enterprise solution driving billion-dollar revenue, Adobe is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Engineering team working on AEM Assets as a Cloud Service.

We're seeking candidates to help us design, build and run high traffic, high-demand services that drive business for the world's top brands. We are looking for people who are self-starters.

What you will do

• Support the transformation of AEM's current, after the fact automation, into a scalable Platform as a Service
• Work with engineering teams to design, build, and maintain systems and solve complex experience management operations and automation challenges.
• Review and collaborate on features, technology, architecture, designs, time & budget estimates, and test strategies.
• Inspire and encourage solution teams to build reliable and scalable services.
• Keep pace with the evolving technology trends in software development and operations to take advantage of the industry trends and translate them for Adobe.
• Identify and drive opportunities for the team to improve automation (deployment, management and visibility of our services) and ensure a high level of value, productivity, quality and reliability.
• Participate in an on-call schedule.

What you need to succeed

• Must have 5+ years of current working experience, excluding internships, co-ops, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related area
• Proficiency in Java programming and familiarity with its development concepts and practices are essential requirements for this position. Prior knowledge of AEM development is a plus.
• Deep understanding of front-end development technologies, including JavaScript frameworks like ReactUI, and a strong foundation in CSS
• Strong grasp of both software engineering and technical operations, with a particular emphasis on experience with public cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS, as well as proficiency in observability technologies
• Great teammate who thrives under pressure

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $101,500 -- $194,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
