We’re looking to expand our team across the board.
We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who is excited about building and pushing the boundaries of software to operate spacecrafts. Our ground operations software is a modern (React/TypeScript, C# .NET) web-based application which operators use to monitor and task space vehicles. You’ll be responsible for working with engineers, operators, and customers to understand requirements and implement features, bug fixes, and other improvements. Prior space-industry experience is not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop key user-facing features to support both current and future missions using React, Typescript and C#.
  • Translate designs and requirements into high quality code.
  • Build reusable components, design systems and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Develop internal and external facing API’s.
  • Engineer algorithms and business logic to power a rapidly evolving application.
  • Write unit tests and documentation.
  • Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Participate in technical design for new features and technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of software engineering.
  • Strong full-stack web engineering experience.
  • Thorough understanding of modern React and its core principles.
  • Experience with common front-end development tools, such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Experience with Git.
  • Thorough knowledge of API’s.
  • Strongly typed backend language, such as C# or Java
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Computer science degree.
  • React using TypeScript.
  • Experience with modern state management tools such as Recoil.js, React Query, Mobx, etc.
  • Familiarity with design systems.
  • Experience with modern security practices.
  • Security Clearance.
