Full Stack Software Engineer, Partner Plugin (Remote, EMEA)

This is a remote opportunity and we would be interested in applicants from European time zones only at this time.

Plugins are core to Grafana’s Big Tent Philosophy - the more sources of data and functionality that we support, the more we can achieve our goal of democratizing metrics. As such, plugins are a valuable and necessary part of our community. We are hoping our plugin catalog will continue to grow through our community, our own internal development, and our plugin partnerships.

The Partner Plugins squad is part of a newly formed group (OSS Plugin Partnerships) within the Grafana division. Our remit and focus is specifically on OSS data source plugins with external partnerships.

• Cloud Monitoring
• Sentry
• ClickHouse

A selection of projects we’re currently working on & planning for:

• More data source plugins with partner collaboration
• Enhancements to existing plugins to vastly improve user experience and integration
• Technical and feature consistency across our plugins to match our plugin maturity framework
• Continuous improvements to support the Plugin Platform developer experience

• Building full stack open source Grafana plugins to integrate metrics from partners into Grafana
• Building relationships with major cloud providers and ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) to understand how we can make Grafana better
• Collaboration with partners and the community to determine feature scope and prioritization
• Adding new functionality to our plugin SDKs
• Innovating our plugin eco-system to allow for enhanced capabilities
• Streamlining processes between the OSS community, engineering, product and business across the organization
• Working closely with the rest of the Grafana Division; including the Plugins Platform, UX, and Observability squads
• Regularly sharing ideas and knowledge across a vast array of technical ideologies and mindsets
