Kunai is working with one of the world’s largest FinTech organizations to build a brand-new core banking platform that will manage tens of billions of dollars in annual transactions across 100 million+ credit card accounts.

A core piece of Kunai’s effort is building a suite of next generation automation platforms and tools that will be instrumental in enabling repeatability, stability and quality for multiple development teams across the globe.

In this role, you’ll lead on one of three SCRUM teams that are building and integrating platforms that will have a direct impact on Data & Machine Learning processes, Application Development and Deployment, Test Automation, and more. Some of our areas of focus will include:

  • Development and integration of new back end features and capabilities for a company wide insights platform
  • Development and enhancement of next generation testing platform, with advanced capabilities for Data, Machine Learning and Mobile applications
  • Build user experiences leveraging cutting edge serverless and front end technologies
  • Implement end to end incident management and monitoring capabilities
  • Development, and distribution of CLI tools company wide

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams of engineers
  • Expertise in driving architectural and design processes and driving technical decisions
  • Experience with one or more back end development languages: Python, NodeJS, Java, Golang
  • Experience with front end TypeScript/JavaScript and React
  • Experience with API design: Rest, GraphQL
  • Knowledge of AWS technologies like Lambda, S3, Fargate, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, RDS, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling like Jenkins
  • Experience with unit, functional testing, and integration test automation (Behave, Mocha, Playwright, Cypress, or others)
  • Knowledge of containerization services such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • A strong desire to learn new technologies and adapt them to your work
