Job Description

AMIRI is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Systems/Data Engineer who will be instrumental in developing, managing, and optimizing our IT systems and data infrastructure. This role requires a unique blend of skills in systems engineering, data management, and software development, tailored to support our growth and innovation in the luxury fashion industry. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust system, application and data architectures to support business requirements.
  • Design, implement, and manage IT systems, ensuring robustness, scalability, and integration with various business functions. 
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, databases, and storage solutions, optimizing data flow and accessibility. 
  • Create and manage APIs for system integration and data exchange between different business applications. 
  • Collaborate with various teams to understand their data and technical needs and technical solutions to meet these requirements. 
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of data and systems. 
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in systems engineering, data engineering, and relevant fashion industry technologies. 
  • Leverage experience with NetSuite to enhance data models related to ERP processes. 
  • Integrate data from various sources into a cohesive and efficient data pipeline. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow, with a focus on NetSuite integration. 
  • Manage and optimize databases for performance and reliability. 
  • Implement and maintain ETL processes.
  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of data-driven applications. 
  • Implement and enforce data security measures to protect sensitive information. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.
  • Implement solutions to enhance overall data processing efficiency. 
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements. 
  • Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Systems / Data Engineer or similar role. 
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript. 
  • Strong database management skills, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. 
  • Experience with data integration tools, ETL processes, and specific experience with NetSuite integration. 
  • Knowledge of ERP applications and Product Life Cycle platforms is highly preferred 
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). 
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). 
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
