Full Stack Tech Lead

We are seeking a Full stack tech lead to join our fast-paced and dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for developing new features, maintaining and optimising our existing platform, and enhancing our infrastructure.

About Searchland

We are a new, fast-growing B2B prop-tech company looking to change how businesses and individuals access and use property data. Our customers include property developers, land agents, architects, and planners.

Over the past three years, we have built one of the UK's largest and most complete property data pipelines, spanning thousands of sources, terabytes of data, and less than 24-hour latency from source to platform.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Co-founder & CTO, development and data teams.
• Manage and implement new features on the platform.
• Perform maintenance and optimisation on the existing platform.
• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, test, and implement software solutions.
• Decide and implement architectural parts of the system
• Perform code reviews for the team, providing advice and improvements to maintain high-quality code.
• Assist in mentoring senior engineers.

Essential

• Extensive experience with Typescript
• Highly competent with React, Node.
• Experience with libraries like tRPC, GraphQL.
• Great knowledge and experience in SQL (Postgres)
• Experience in a SaaS Tech company
• Proven experience in deploying to production at a fast pace.
• Experience mentoring senior developers

• Worked with mapping on the web (Google maps etc)
• Worked with Elasticsearch
