Full Stack Web Developer - Remote

The role:

We are seeking a full-stack web developer to help with maintaining our digital corporate marketing assets built using React and Next.js. This is a full-time, remote, salaried position. The individual will be a key contributor to the health, growth, and optimization of our owned-and-operated websites. The team handles web development, design, creative vision, and branding. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can manage and complete tasks with minimal supervision and consistently be a top performer and reliable in a fast-paced environment. This role will directly support our Marketing Department. This position reports to the Web Manager.

What you'll do as the Full-Stack Web Developer:

• Manage servers and web hosting providers for our media and marketing websites.
• Maintain backend configuration for our static websites
• Be responsible for maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting all of our company websites
• Be responsible for securing the website from malicious attacks
• Creating custom and scalable, reusable components
• Provide technical leadership for our Marketing team
• Optimize website for speed, SEO, and visibility to meet marketing goals
• Help execute marketing strategies by providing the optimization needed in our various marketing channels (landing pages, forms, marketing funnels, etc.)

What you'll know as the Full-Stack Web Developer:

• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js)
• Knowledge of multiple server-side JavaScript languages & frameworks (e.g. Node)
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. MySQL & MariaDB)
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare and Fastly CDN
• Familiarity with GitHub and CLI tools
• Ability to implement security configurations within a JAMstack environment
• Expertise in creating Custom Reusable React Components
• Design and develop tools and solutions
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
• Implement project guidelines & documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills

What you'll bring as the Full-Stack Web Developer

• 3+ years of experience in web development
• Strong understanding of Next.js
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related field
• Experience working in the Security field is a plus
• DevOps knowledge a plus
• Knowledge and implementation of SEO metadata and schema
