Full Time PA - Cardiothoracic Surgery

Valley Health seeks a CT Physician Assistant for our Cardiothoracic Surgery Team to provide services at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia. You will join a program expanding to three cardiac surgeons and four APPs, with an anticipated call rotation of 1:4 surgical and step-down unit coverage.

Winchester hospital performs 500 cardiac procedures and is ranked by premier as one of the nation’s top 50 cardiovascular programs in the country. Professional responsibilities include surgical first-assisting in cardiac surgery, perioperative patient care within the cardiac ICU, and step down unit. The Cardiothoracic Surgery PA acts as the liaison between the surgeons, intensivists, nursing staff, and other care providers to ensure continuity and quality of care. Your vision and leadership skills would be highly valued across all members of the Cardiac team.
