The Role:

As an experienced Frontend Engineer on our Operational Engineering (OpsEng) team, you will play an integral role in the design and execution of our operational portal. You’ll be working with stakeholders to simplify workflows and build clean, functional and maintainable web-apps. You will partner with others across the organization to understand complex workflow-related issues and seek effective compromises. As a voice of experience in the team, you will help mentor teammates, evolve our technical standards and best practices, and further our culture of system designs.

The Team: 

The Ops-Eng (Operational Engineering) team is dedicated to revolutionizing our prime broker operations. We work closely with stakeholders across the operations team to build world-class web applications and workflows that streamline processes, reduce manual errors, and increase the scalability of our operations. Our goal is to make the lives of our operations team easier by leveraging innovative technology solutions to enhance efficiency and optimize performance. Requirements: 

• You have 7+ years of experience designing and architecting web applications.

• You understand how web-application ecosystems work including the role of middle tiers and backends.

• You understand how to design efficient communication channels between the frontend UIs and middletiers. 

• You communicate technical ideas with ease and always look to collaborate to deliver high quality products.

• Your experience will help you mentor team members, define our engineering standards, and drive a system design approach to building new services.

We Offer:  

The Base Salary Range is $140,000 - $190,000. These ranges are representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Which range a candidate fits into and where a candidate falls in the range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. These ranges represent Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The ranges stated do not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.
