Responsibilities

• Managing and configuring the Denodo Platform, including setting up and maintaining servers, configuring security settings, and managing user access and permissions.
• Designing and implementing data integration solutions using the Denodo Platform, including creating virtual data sources, data mappings, and data integration workflows.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting the Denodo Platform, including identifying and resolving performance issues, investigating, and resolving errors, and monitoring system logs.
• Managing and maintaining the Denodo Platform's metadata and data catalog, including creating and managing data models, data sources and data source views.
• Managing and maintaining data security, including implementing and enforcing security policies, managing user access and permissions, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
• Managing Denodo's cache and performance, including monitoring and tuning the performance of the system, implementing caching strategies, and optimizing query performance Managing and maintaining Denodo's data lineage and data governance.
• Managing and maintaining Denodo's backup and recovery procedures. Collaborating with other teams, such as data analysts, data scientists and BI developers, to understand and meet their data integration needs.
• Keeping updated with the new features and functionalities of Denodo and providing feedback to the development team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience as a Denodo Developer or a similar role
• Background in Banking, Telecom or Pharma
• Strong knowledge of Denodo Version 7 or 8 with background in either Banking, Telecom or Pharma – You don’t need to have experience in Informatica but an exposure to IDQ will be a plus. At least 2 of them need to have experience in migration from another platform to Denodo and all of them need to demonstrate strong experience in building Base, derived and interface views from scratch with good handle of different Caching use cases.
• Experience using agile software development methodologies
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
