Sr. Hardware Engineer

Responsibility:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

• Understand interpret and clarify technical and functional and non functional requirements and requirement standards for the project.

• Gather necessary inputs and understand transformation requirements.

Design:

• Study assigned design specifications.

• Iidentify areas which will be affected with implication of the specifications.

• Raise queries and seek resolution for areas which are unclear / ambiguous and where more information from the Senior hardware engineer is required.

• Provide required support to develop the proof of concept.

Testing:

• Write test plan for the board and seek review from peers / Senior hardwrae engineer.

• Capture waveforms and fix design issues.

• By using required test equipment like signal generator multimeter oscilloscope provide inputs to the board and measure signals.

• Report the design outputs.

Defect Management:

• Rework on the design based on review comments and defects raised in testing.

Process Improvements and Adherence:

• Generate ideas to bring about any form of value add and share the same with the lead.

• Adhere to process and tools (usage of cognizant 20 awareness of quality management system IDE etc).

Knowledge Management:

• Contribute towards updating knowledge assets design ideas Tools for circuit analysis.

• Contribute / search / reuse all types of assets from repository.
