This entry level position is set up to assist with all areas of functional & program support.

Description

The Functional Support Specialist willassist in all areas of functional support. Some of these duties include:

• Assist with front office activities- answering phones, accepting packages & visitors, etc
• Assist CIO with light IT duties - Set up employees in active directory, grant accesses to multiple software platforms and secure folders, reset passwords, etc
• Provide program support in ensuring timesheets are submitted promptly (twice-monthly)
• Handle occasional travel arrangements for employees going on work trips
• Learn to write resumes into templates, and perform quality control on templates submitted to BCT's program office- Learn about LCATS (labor categories)
• Assist administratively on proposal efforts- printing, organizing, gathering data, etc
• Assist multiple directors with periodic hiring and employee events- Take pictures at these events
• Collaborate on social media other marketing initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Candidate must have two (2) years of DoD, IC, or commercial experience in contract management, finance, customer service, or business
• Basic proficiency with MS Excel is required to include demonstrated use of formulas, functions, and charts.
• Ability to pick up a task and run with it, ask questions, and be an avid "learner"
• Willingness to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph

Education

• Candidate must have at least an Associate's Degree with a business focus or forty-five (45) business-related college credits.
• A Bachelor's Degree with a business focus may substitute for the years of experience, and is preferred
