Fund Finance Analyst, Private Markets

A bit about the job:

As a Fund Finance Analyst, you'll be an integral part of the Private Markets Fund Finance Strategy Team, reporting to, Head of Fund Finance Strategy, Private Markets. You'll collaborate closely with various teams within Aviva Investors, including Fund/Investment Managers, Tax, Performance and Analytics, and key outsource partners like HSBC Security Services.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the Fund Finance Directors with all fund finance activities for Private Markets EU and UK funds and joint ventures, especially on key growth mandates. This involves assisting in the setup of new funds/transactions, providing analytical support, and serving as an escalation point for BAU fund finance operations. Additionally, you'll help prepare strategic presentations for Fund Finance Strategy, which are crucial for Private Markets.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Experience in Private Markets fund control or financial analysis, or as a newly qualified accountant within Real Assets/Real Estate/Venture Capital audit experience.

• Familiarity with common EU/UK fund structures and vehicles.

• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent) or relevant financial experience.

• Experience in real estate, infrastructure, or venture capital, either through auditing or within the industry.

• Good organisational and project management skills
