Funds US Analyst

Alter Domus is currently seeking a new Fund Accountant to join our Real Estate Fund Administration team!

Current Responsibilities and Tasks

This is primarily a supportive role for the Real Estate Accounting teams. We work with the assigned Fund Accountants and prepare cash and reconciliation packages for the accounts review. We complete monthly property level financial reviews assigned to our team and also help with Accounts Payable processing for 2 different funds.

• CASH AND ACCRUALS
  • Check Client's cash accounts for transactions to record.
  • Follow up with fund accountant for any missing supporting documents or clarification for GL coding.
  • Save supporting documents from emails to Fund's Supporting Documents folder.
  • Upload ETL and confirm.
• RECONCILLATION PACKAGES
  • Recording and uploading monthly accruals, review with fund accountant.
  • Complete Weekly/Monthly/Qtrly Recons as required of fund.
• CAPITAL EVENTS
  • Daily Capital Call Tracker and updating fund accountants
  • Preparing and uploading ETLS
  • Assisting with Capital Calls and Distributions
• REPORT PRO
  • Prepping Reports for accountant's review
  • Mapping and comparing reports to Yardi
• TA PROPERTY REVIEWS
  • Review property level financial statements and complete a step-by-step questionnaire
• WEEKLY PAYABLES
  • Accounts Payable data entry in Yardi
  • Process Payable items each week and coordinate with Cash Services for in-house printed checks
