Furniture Sales & Interior Design Specialist
Full-Time | Redwood City, CA | $25+/hr + bonus incentives + benefits
Hoot Judkins Furniture—the Bay Area’s largest retailer of real wood furniture since 1962—is looking for a motivatedSales & Interior Design Specialistto join our team. This is more than just a sales job: it’s an opportunity to help customers design their homes with high-quality, American-made, and custom furniture while building a long-term career in a family-owned business.
What You’ll Do
• Work with customers to design and purchase custom wood and upholstered furniture
• Educate customers on product benefits and help them choose styles, finishes, and fabrics
• Write up custom orders and process sales in our POS system (Profit Systems)
• Maintain in-store displays, pricing, and merchandising standards
• Assist with product demonstrations, light furniture movement, and minor assembly
• Collaborate with managers and experienced sales associates during hands-on training

What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years of sales, interior design or customer service experience
• Interest in furniture, interior design, or home décor (preferred)
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and strong communication skills
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn our POS system
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and assist with floor moves
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 verifiable references
