POSITION SUMMARY
As FX Product Analyst, you will sit directly in Markets and be responsible for several of our strategic FX products and platforms. This includes supporting the implementation of new technology efforts, assisting with ongoing product development initiatives, onboarding clients onto our platforms and providing day-to-day support internally to the Foreign Exchange trading desk and externally to our clients.
This role partners directly with our New Business Development team as a subject matter expert during the sale process. Once a client is committed, the FX Product Anlyst is the client's first point of contact and is responsible for onboarding them onto our products. This includes integration with the client's systems, coordinating documentation with legal, and instructing our back office to open and setup accounts. Once the client is live, this specialist will be key to the relationship moving forward and will liaise with our FX desk to help to participate in client meetings, provide day to day support and help manage their FX program.
The FX Product Analyst will also help drive and support technology efforts across both our internal and external products. This role will work closely with our Systems and Quality Management teams to implement new products and enhancements to our existing products.
Since this role will be expected to partner across many internal teams, (Relationship Management/Sales trading, Trading, Sales, Technology, Documentation and Operations), as well as supporting clients directly, we are searching for a candidate with strong communication and an interest inbuilding relationships. The ideal candidate will also have a strong interest for Foreign Exchange and Technology.

Key Activities/Elements
Product Development
- Work with the Trading desk to identify enhancements to the technology platform including evolution of older applications & infrastructure into newer technologies that offer more scale, flexibility, and client benefits
- Support product development initiatives through project management, writing business requirements, writing, and executing test scripts and assisting with implementation efforts
- Work closely with Systems/Technology and Quality Management to identify, track and fix defects
- Evaluate operational service levels on new and existing products
- Identify and incorporate process improvements to lower costs and improve efficiencies
- Articulate projects and product proposals to sales, trading, and relationship managers
- Identify gaps and opportunities with products and recommend creative business solutions
- Develop cost models for existing and new business initiatives
- Present and articulate projects and product proposals to relationship managers and senior leadership
- Ensure the competitiveness of BBH new products, by participating in professional networks, to determine best industry practices
Client/Product Onboarding
- Support new clients through seamlessly onboarding to our platforms/products. This includes providing demos to clients and working internally with the Documentation and Operations teams to ensure accounts are properly setup
- Identify process improvements to lower costs and improve efficiencies, and the overall client experience
- Leverage expertise from other BBH lines of business
- Document procedures, opportunities, best practices, project goals and workflows
Client Service
- Build and maintain relationships at all levels, both within FX and across the firm
- Assess and provide solutions to clients, acting as a key point of contact for onboarding and production issues
- Review potential new business prospects, from the sales organization and assist with the RFP process.
- Assist with the development and modification of product announcements and client communications
Education level and/or relevant experience(s)
- Bachelors degree in finance, marketing or related discipline required.
- 1-3years of relevant course or work experience.
- Experience working in the financial services industry.
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
- Knowledge of BBH products, services and practices.
- Excellent business analysis skills, including business requirements, product proposals and business and technical workflows.
- Knowledge of international currency markets, including the impact of economic and political factors.
- Knowledge of foreign exchange trading instruments.
- Excellent project management, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal, consultative, and advisory skills.
- Knowledge of emerging trends in the industry.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and make sound business decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
- Experience with standard desktop tools, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations.

Salary Range
$75,000 - $90,000
BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range shown above is only for the New York City and/or Jersey City location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
