DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:
Credera’s Talent Development team supports the organization through building custom learning programs, overseeing career and leadership development best practices, maturing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) awareness and application, and ensuring exceptional onboarding experiences. Talent Development team members partner closely with senior leadership so that departmental efforts meet existing and future firm needs while providing best in class growth opportunities to employees. Our team is responsible for a variety of high-impact responsibilities, including the effective integration of new hires into our model, the evolution of career growth opportunities as the firm scales, and the preparation of the next generation of leaders at Credera.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This role will assist in the design, development and facilitation of training and career development programs. Talent Development Senior Specialists help us foster a culture of continuous learning, growth mindset, and professional development. You will help ensure Credera builds and retains a high-performance work environment that stays true to our values as the firm rapidly scales.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the learning and development strategy, vision, and action plan for dynamic learning programs contributing to the success of the organization
- Play a key role in our leadership development program, while continuously supporting evolution of the program to effectively grow and support our current and future leaders
- Understand business strategy and trends to support the firm’s talent strategies and development plans
- Support the development of necessary talent interventions needed for the firm and sees them through execution
- Assist with Credera University for campus/junior hires, milestone schools and promotion readiness programs, and existing internally-developed courses, while evaluating future curriculum needs
- Support practice L&D Leads to ensure best practices are being adhered to for all consulting organization employees
- Learn our career development framework and content to support the strengthening of people development skillsets for Career Coaches
- Collaborate with consulting practices to help customize training content tailored to their practices and needs at all levels
- Assist in the design and implementation of effective tools, training initiatives and processes to close hard and soft skill gaps
- Assess critical, specialized trainings and certifications needed (Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SMC), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), etc.) and manage competitions and training pipelines
- Aid in structured learning plans for new hires and other targeted populations
- Audit Onboarding Experiences for all levels and make recommendations for iterations based on L&D vision
- Use appropriate tools and delivery methods to produce blended learning materials promoting learning through self-study, practice, performance support, socialization and knowledge-sharing
- Help create and manage Train-the-Trainer programs for others involved in employee training
- Successfully implement new learning tools, technologies, and delivery methods
- Ensure Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) trainings and practices are embedded in Talent Development and firm-wide rhythms
- Coordinate engaging, instructor-led (ILT) and virtual instructor-led (VILT) training for all levels of the organization
- Effectively manage multiple mid to large-scale training projects and initiatives at any given time, from analysis to implementation and post-evaluation
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
- Team player with a professional business acumen
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of MS Office
- Ability to work independently
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Must be able to maintain a high-level of confidentiality and ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to change
- Ability to discern and present needed information to client stakeholders
- Ability to create persuasive and compelling arguments
- Ability to provide advice and support to team members through on-the-job coaching
- Ability to establish yourself to clients as the day-to-day team leader on smaller initiatives
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Liberal Arts (e.g., Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, etc.) or equivalent
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Project and/or program management experience
- Influencing skills at all levels in the organization
- Flexibility to be proactive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience in assisting the development and implementation of programs/processes that drive business results
- Experience interacting with a Learning Management System (LMS)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Consistent use of hands and fingers to operate a mouse and keyboard
- Occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, stoop and kneel
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
