Anaplan is looking for a tenacious Gainsight Admin/Business Analyst to join Customer Success Strategy & Transformation team, in India. This is a stellar opportunity to get involved in a highly visible, large scale SaaS cloud company. Insight on your impact

The primary role of the Business Analyst is to support the Customer Success organization by partnering with stakeholders to aid in the development and rollout of operational reports, insights, processes and recommendations to increase our efficiency and to support/enhance data capture for more robust and accurate reporting and analytics.

This will be a high-visibility, high-impact role as the data analytics outputs will be shared with Customer Success leadership and other cross-functional stakeholders in the organization. You will work on a variety of operational initiatives related to tooling, integration, analytics, forecasting and reporting, that have a high impact on our ability to build a highly efficient organization.

This role will use Gainsight as the primary tool for activating our CS field’s key motions; there will be an opportunity to use secondary tools like Salesforce, Microsoft suite, and Anaplan's own platform to analyze and report so that the leaders can make informed decisions. Your strong analytics skills and your ability to adapt to a scaling organization will help you be successful. Being able to operate independently and thrive in a dynamic environment is key to this role.

Your knowledge and skills:

In this role you will:

  • Work with the rest of the operational team members to identify, gather and analyze data that inform our Customer Success priority motions (leading and lagging success indicators)
  • Develop, maintain, and improve business critical tools and processes, mainly in Gainsight, and its associated systems like Medallia and Salesforce
  • Manage change related to data and systems through communication, by developing user guide and knowledge management documentation and delivering of user training, as required
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to support critical business processes that help inform our top and bottom lines

Your qualifications, your influence

To be successful in the role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Accounting, or similar preferred
  • 2+ Years working in Operations, Finance or Business-related roles in the technology industry preferred
  • Natural learner of technical tools – experience with Gainsight is a must; experience with Salesforce, Gainsight, Medallia and other tools are strongly preferred but not required (must be willing to learn quickly once on the job, as needed)
  • High proficiency with Excel and/or other data analytics software; software programming language experience a plus but not a must
  • Experience with Anaplan is preferred but not required (must be willing to learn quickly as required to be effective in the role)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to independently determine trends and insights, and propose solutions and recommendations
  • Be able to tell the story through data; must have adequate verbal and written presentation skills for this role to be successful
  • Must be a self-starter with proven accountability and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to work in a quickly scaling business environment in collaboration with cross-functional partners
