Game Designer (World of Warships Blitz)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Game Designer who has hands-on experience working on live mobile games to work on World of Warships Blitz. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing game features, content, and mechanics and bringing those ideas and designs to life through live operations to ensure a smooth and engaging player experience. This role requires a creative thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of mobile game development and live operations.

What will you do?

• Game Design:
  • Develop and design game features, mechanics, and content that enhance player engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with the development team to create detailed design documents.
  • Conduct playtesting sessions and gather feedback to refine and improve game elements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to inform and inspire new game design ideas.
• Live Ops Operations:
  • Plan and execute live events, promotions, and updates to keep the game fresh and engaging for players.
  • Monitor game performance metrics and player feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (development, community, product) to ensure successful live operations.

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience in game design, with a focus on mobile games.
• Proven experience working on live mobile games, managing live events, and handling game updates.
• Strong understanding of game design principles, player behavior, and engagement strategies.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret game performance data.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for creating fun, engaging, and innovative game experiences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
