Game Economist

As a Game Economist, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the in-game economy of our products. Your role will involve creating engaging and balanced virtual economies that enhance player experiences and drive monetization strategies. You will collaborate closely with game designers, data analysts, and product managers to ensure the economic systems align with the overall game design and business objectives.

In this role, you will utilize your analytical skills to evaluate player behavior, monitor in-game economies, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the virtual economy. You will create and fine-tune item pricing, currency systems, and reward structures to promote player engagement, progression, and retention. Additionally, you will conduct regular economy audits, implement updates, and respond to player feedback to ensure a satisfying and fair gameplay experience. As a Game Economy Designer, you will play a vital role in shaping the success of our games through strategic economic design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain the virtual economies of our games to create engaging player experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the game economy aligns with game design, player behavior, and business goals.
• Analyze player data and conduct regular audits to evaluate and optimize the virtual economy.
• Develop pricing strategies, currency systems, and reward structures to drive monetization and player progression.
• Continuously monitor player feedback, market trends, and industry best practices to iterate and improve the game economy over time.
