Game Platform Team Leader

Our team is providing technology for gambling providers. Our product is a set of infrastructure, software and services for game development companies. Includes everything from game servers and protocols to backoffice and analytics and games testing tools.

The product is being developed by a team of experienced, hardened by trials of creating successful global product from scratch, professionals. We work a lot with databases, distributed systems, discuss and implement architectural solutions, conduct RND procedures to check the performance of certain ideas and constantly improving our processes acccording business needs and changes.

We are constantly growing and recently decided to separate part of the services into a separate product - game provider integration platform which helps to integrate different game providers with their games and distribute them to global markets where we care about all integrations with operators. In this regard, we are looking for an experienced engineer/lead for a position that involves responsibility for this project from the technical side, the formation of a new separate team with our full support and assistance.

We work remotely, formal meetings are kept to a minimum - one stand-up per week, and the rest according to the work needs. Originally our team is from Ukraine, but now people are geographically distributed and we are working a lot with other international teams from GB, EU and TWN. As a company we lived through corona and full-scale war, so we always care about each other and trying to be a great team.

- Will to take responsibility for the team and product technology.

- Experience of designing software architecture and data models.

- 7+ years experience building software using Python and JavaScript;

- Knowledge and experience with relational and non-relational databases and SQL;

- Understanding data structures, algorithms, and design patterns;

- Experience in Docker/Kubernetes;

- Upper-Intermediate level of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

- Step by step in time take technical responsibility of new product and team.

- Form a new software development team.

- Consistently write effective high-quality code that is stable, secure, scalable, and efficient;

- Improve existing products and tools;

- Participate in architecture design and code reviews;

- Collaborate with team members to agree on priorities and solutions;

- Provide code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
