SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining required documentation of game moves, maintenance and repair logs, and purchase orders and requisitions for game machine parts and supplies.
- Training of game/gaming technical supervisors and technicians and occasional assistance in troubleshooting various gaming terminal malfunctions. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
- Responsible for reviewing reports and statistical data for malfunctions or other problems and implementing appropriate maintenance and repair lists.
- Keep and maintain gaming floor systems and files.
- Maintain property CAD drawings for use by various departments.
- Analyze and recommend optimal gaming floor changes based on current trends.
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and endorses business objectives, ethics and values of the company and property.
- Review department staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment, including interviewing and hiring candidates.
- Developing and evaluating team members within the Gaming Performance department regarding job performance.
- Develop and manage the department's performance metrics, budget and financial results.
- Meet with Departmental Directors and managers as necessary.
- All other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
- Management abilities demonstrated in managing the Games technical department profitability.
- Serves as a leader for team members while fostering teamwork, positive morale, motivation, and open communication.
- Oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the department, work flexible hours and handle high-pressure deadlines.
- Knowledge of state gaming laws and regulations.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- Five to seven years' experience in electronics and maintenance of technical equipment, game machines and supervision.
- A 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with server based systems or networking.
- Prior experience with Autocad, SQL, Excel and Business Intelligence tools.
- Experience opening a new operation/location is preferred
- Ability to obtain a valid Racing License. (Company will provide application)
