GASTROENTEROLOGIST

UPMC Western Maryland Health Services seeks a Gastroenterologist to be responsible for managing and treating a wide range of digestive health illnesses and diseases; diagnose and monitor any abnormalities within the stomach, intestine, liver, gallbladder, biliary tree, and pancreas; create treatment plans for patients and perform endoscopies, small bowel endoscopies, and colonoscopies for patients, when necessary; provide different treatment options for all gastroenterological conditions and any necessary X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning for patients; leveraging advanced knowledge in digestive and stomach abnormalities and treatments, inspect internal organs through endoscopic procedures and consult with patient’s primary physicians in order to coordinate the best health and treatment plans for patients; perform procedures and surgery on the digestive tract and internal organs.
