Gastroenterology (Advanced Endoscopy) Physician Opportunity in Illinois

Carle Health is seeking an experienced BE/BC Gastroenterologist with an Advanced Endoscopy focus to join our established Digestive Health Institute in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.

About Our Practice:

• Fellowship training in Advanced Endoscopy is required
• US News and World Report Top Hospitals for Gastroenterology and GI Surgery
• Well-developed Interventional program ready to step into
• Hospital employed GI position in a multispecialty, physician-led group in a fast-growing community serving 250K+ residents within a 1.5 million catchment area
• 10 bed hospital-based GI procedure suite with access to local Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Advanced Program supportive of complex GI advanced cases such as ESD, POEMs, EndoVac, and much more
• Phased $15 million GI Olympus upgrade project underway
• Excellent inpatient and outpatient APP support allowing providers to focus on more complex cases
• Support from our Interventional Radiology and Surgical Oncology teams
• System-wide EPIC EMR
• Quality of life maintained with support from GI Hospitalist and limited inpatient coverage required from outpatient physicians
• Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation’s first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering
• We are open to non-traditional scheduling options

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $800,000 - $805,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
