Gastroenterology Position in New York City for GI Hospitalists and General GI Physicians

An academic medical center in Staten Island, NY is excited to welcome additional gastroenterologists to their growing program. Opportunities exist for those interested in a GI hospitalist role and a traditional general GI position. The position is ideal for both experienced gastroenterologists and those finishing fellowship. Physicians practice in an award-winning 470+ bed healthcare facility and teaching institution with one of the top endoscopy units in the New York City area.

Position Highlights:
• GI Hospitalist will enjoy 100% inpatient responsibilities.
• Schedule will be approximately 9AM-5PM on a 7 on/7off schedule plus call.
• Hospitalist will see approximately 10-15 patients per day and will perform 3-6 procedures per day.
• The traditional role will be general GI based, those with ERCP/EUS interests can be accommodated.
• A faculty appointment is available as physician will work with internal medicine residents.
• Immediate volume is available for experienced physician and mentorship is available for graduating fellows.
