Global Markets, Systematic Volatility Trading, Vice President, UI Engineering Lead, Warsaw

We Goldman Sachs have the opportunity to change you career and grow together.

As part of the the Systematic Volatility Trading Engineering team you will work to transform the Equity Derivatives businesses at Goldman Sachs by building state of art tooling that help traders and sales to take key decision every day. Our team also owns the business derivatives websites across EMEA, our business faΓ§ade to the world.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work closely with sales and trading by building new tools and GUIs.
  • Work with the business and marketing by driving the business public websites.
  • Integrate with backend services using GraphQL and Rest and GRPC web
  • End2End ownership of deliverables from design to production deployment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular or Apollo.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with web performance optimization techniques
  • At least 8 years' experience.
  • Self-starter with strong self-management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion for software engineering, coding and solving real-world problems.
  • Strong programming skills in an object oriented or functional paradigm such as C++, Java or Python.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience on domain driven development and API first approach.
