GCP Cloud Specialist (Migrations)

We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Specialist with a focus on migrations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience with GCP and at least 1 year of experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. This role requires a strong background in IT/Software Development and proven experience in cloud migration or infrastructure development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute cloud migration projects from various platforms to GCP.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration processes.
• Communicate effectively with clients from Canadian, American, or UK markets, providing updates on development stages and presenting deliverables.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of migrated systems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing and migrations.

• 5+ years of experience with GCP.
• At least 1 year of experience with other cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Azure.
• Minimum of 8 years of provable IT/Software Development experience.
• Proven experience in cloud migration or infrastructure development.
• Fluent English (C1 and above).
• Experience working directly with clients from Canadian, American, or UK markets.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively during development stages, present deliverables, and conduct proper technical documentation.
• 3+ years of experience working in a fully remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese, or both.
• 3+ years of experience leading development teams.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
