GCP FinOps Engineer

Description

We are looking for GCP FinOps Engineer for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.

GCP FinOps Engineer

Experience 10 to 12Years

Required Skills Technical Skills: Google Analytics, Google Cloud Operate Domain Skills

Understand the organization operate model and usage provide recommendation on GCP provisioning and configuration of resources.

Connect with financial & technology leads to understand their Cloud journey, business goals and as well as budget limits.

Collaborate with GCP Architects and Engineers in implementing appropriate controls to track GCP billing.

Configure and use GCP financial management services such as GCP Cost Explorer, Perform Amazon Athena, GCP Quick Sight, GCP S3 Analytics.

Work on GCP Multi-Account Structure, GCP Cost Allocation Tags, Cost Usage Reports and GCP Budgets, GCP Trusted Advisor.

Recommend and apply GCP Purchase Plans, discounts and credits Recommend and Implement GCP Compute Sizing & Storage lifecycle policies Provide recommendation in Automation to proactively Monitor and Alert on GCP Spend.

Identify key cost-optimization drivers to manage cloud consumption in a most cost-effective manner Plan and forecast cloud infrastructure by understanding the cost drivers and allocate spend.

Deploy Google Cloud cost-management tools to analyze real-time billing and cost data.

Provide reporting to manage cloud spend and value tracking Implement automation scripts to set account guardrails and budget alerts.
