Job Description

Architects design digital blueprints for client projects. They create scalable, efficient, and secure IT systems to ensure alignment with business goals before, during, and after development. Our Architects possess a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong communication skills. 

Responsibilities:

• Working with Endava’s customers to analyze existing systems and prepare a plan for migrating the systems to cloud

• Architect, design, deploy and maintain large Kubernetes clusters

• Defining and implementing cloud strategy including security posture, target operating model, DR strategy and others

• Evangelizing Kubernetes – including technical demonstration, benefits analysis, implementation strategy presentations etc.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor and Kubernetes expert to Heads of Engineering

• Deliver end-to-end Kubernetes platforms – from early concept and planning, through early PoC and benefits analysis, all the way to production rollouts

• Support technical pre-sales

• Working closely with the Delivery Management team

• Mentoring/tutoring

Qualifications

• Experience with architecting and implementing Application Modernization including Monolith to Microservices with Kubernetes and GKE, with relevant certifications (CKAD, CKA, CKS)
• Expert knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, C#, Python)
• Experience with Cloud Computing storage and Big Data systems – BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Google Spanner, and others
• Experience in networking, identity management, virtualization
• Understanding of DevOps and SRE principles
• Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure concepts (IaC)
• GCP certifications
• Ability to translate and present complex technological concepts to C-level audience
• Experience with performing technical demos & running workshops
• Comfortable with Public Speaking / presenting to small and large audiences
• Excellent communication skills
• Approachable & having a lot of satisfaction from growing others
