• GCP with 8 years of exp and hands-on Python Position Overview:
• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Lead/Architect to join our team.
• As a GCP Lead/Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.
• The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the GCP product suite, hands-on experience with Compute Engine and App Engine, and the ability to integrate GCP services with external systems.
• Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud infrastructure.
• Must Have: GCP Expertise:
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the GCP product suite, including services like Compute Engine, App Engine, VM instances, adding groups and users, and logging mechanisms.
• Compute Engine & App Engine:
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud solutions using Compute Engine and App Engine, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Identity and Access Management:
• Implement access controls by adding groups and users, ensuring proper authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place for GCP resources.
• Logging and Monitoring:
• Set up effective logging and monitoring solutions to proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, ensuring the overall health of the cloud environment.
• Event Handling:
• Possess a clear understanding of polling vs. event-driven architectures and employ the appropriate approach to meet the needs of specific projects.
• Scalability:
• Design systems that can scale seamlessly to handle increasing workloads, utilizing GCP's auto-scaling capabilities effectively.
• Integration with External Systems:
• Leverage your hands-on experience to integrate GCP services with external systems, such as Salesforce, ensuring smooth data flow and functionality across platforms.
• Proprietary Tools:
• Adapt quickly to new tools and technologies, including proprietary tools developed within the organization, and incorporate them into the GCP architecture as required.
• Solution Design:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions that align with business requirements, best practices, and security standards.
• Continuous Learning:
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in GCP services and cloud computing trends, ensuring the organization's infrastructure remains cutting-edge and efficient.

 

Nice To Have

• Python: Familiarity with diverse Python libraries such as Flask, os, and various APIs.
• Salesforce: Knowledge of accessing and connecting to the Salesforce platform would be advantageous.
