GDPR Implementation Expert (Freelance)

NN Bank is seeking a GDPR Implementation Expert. The Payments Value Chain is gearing up for the go-live of the NN Bank Payments Proposition in March. A crucial aspect of this launch is the implementation of GDPR (European data protection regulation) requirements within the Payments organization. Our team is facing challenges in completing these requirements on time and with the necessary expertise. Therefore, we are seeking additional hands-on support and specialized knowledge to ensure successful implementation. Proficiency in English is essential for this role, while Dutch is a nice-to-have

This is a temporary assignment for +/- 3 months, 28-32 hours per week. Start date as soon as possible.

What you are going to do
The key responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the business in completing:

• Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs), and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
• Data retention schedules for each application

2. Liaising with the business to gather information on how specific GDPR requirements have been integrated into systems and operational processes. The business has conducted an extensive gap analysis to assess the current status of GDPR implementation. Actions have been defined and need to be addressed

You are expected to:

• Ensure that actions allocated to the first line are completed on time
• Complete the data protection risk assessment
• Define the risks for ECF within a six-week timeframe

Who you are

We are looking for a candidate with advanced knowledge of GDPR and practical experience in implementing it within first-line processes.

• Proven knowledge and experience with GDPR implementation
• Experience within a Banking/Retail Payments organization
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required, and Dutch is a plus

As a candidate, you will work closely with your team to help them achieve their set goals. At NN, we have a hybrid way of working at home and at the office. For this assignment, it is preferable to be at the office on Mondays and Thursdays.
