Job Description Summary
Help invent the future of flight, lift people up, and bring them home safely as a GE Aerospace intern/coop! You'll build leadership and functional skills in an engineering role working on challenging, real-world problems and solve for what the world needs. You'll build relationships with interns/coops and leaders. And you'll prepare for a potential full-time position after graduation into one of our amazing leadership programs or a direct hire opportunity.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
An Aerospace Engineering Engines Computer and Software Engineering intern/co-op may experience work in the development of engine controls; gas turbine engine sensors; electrical power systems; vehicle health & data management systems; data collection and computing systems; real time data analytics; engine test systems and integration. Responsibilities may include design, analysis, development, and testing, writing software requirements; software testing, simulation, tool development and product/program support.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Graduation dates on or after July 2025
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA off a 4.0 scale without rounding
- Attending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program for the degrees listed below
- Willingness and ability to work in the United States; primarily locations are Cincinnati, OH or Lynn, MA
- Reliable transportation, many of our sites do not have public transportation available
Degrees accepted:
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Other related majors
Eligibility Requirements:
Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

- Due to the nature of the work, upperclassmen are preferred
- Engineering aptitude and passion for aviation technology

Benefits:
Pay rates for this position begin at $20/hour and increase for each undergraduate year completed. Relocation support and housing assistance is available for those who relocate to a new city.
