Generative AI (GenAI) Technology Team

The Generative AI Technology team at Point72 is a group of skilled professionals who are responsible for conceptualizing and developing the firm’s Generative AI efforts, in particular, the firm’s Generative AI platform. The team works closely with business stakeholders and development teams across Technology and the business to deploy innovative AI technology that can transform the firm’s operations.

What you’ll do

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with great interpersonal skills to build and lead a GenAI team in our Warsaw office. In this role, the successful candidate will lead a dedicated team that will develop and implement generative AI solutions for the firm. Specifically, this group will support building solutions to leverage GenAI to augment software development and build solution for non-technical departments, such as finance, treasury, operations, etc. and partner with wider technology teams to provide necessary integration. The team will work with the Central GenAI Technology team to champion GenAI use for our technology colleagues in Poland and other regions to ensure they are getting the most value in a fast-changing landscape.

• Lead a team of software developers in Warsaw. Help improve their fluency with generative AI models and their integration and application
• Lead and manage a team of generative AI developers & engineers in Warsaw
• Collaborate with various global departments and stakeholders toidentify opportunities to use generative AI to drive business solutions
• Work closely with GenAI Technology team (based in New York) to build and support the central GenAI platform
• Oversee the development and deployment of generative AI solutions, ensuring they are effective and align with business objectives
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across the organization
• Effectively communicate technical solutions in a manner that is easily understood by non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with our Global Information Security and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Stay up to date with the latest generative AI trends and technologies, and drive the adoption of generative AI solutions within the organization

What’s required

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of total professional experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in generative AI, driving technology initiatives from advocacy to implementation
• Extensive knowledge of generative AI technologies and applications, including natural language processing and text generation
• Experience working across various departments and stakeholders, with a proven ability to bridge technical and non-technical domains
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable solutions
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of professionals
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
• Knowledge of financial services and investment management is a plus
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
