General Assignment Reporter, U30

Forbes Media is seeking a General Assignment Reporter, Under 30. This is not a traditional reporter role, as this position helps to manage and organize all editorial aspects of Forbes Under 30. This ranges from developing and project managing Under 30 list packages, assembling speakers and building content for Under 30 global events, writing the weekly Under 30 newsletter and reporting on Under 30-related news. Organized, motivated and outgoing, this person sits at the core of the Under 30 team and helps to steer one of the most exciting franchises in the media landscape--Forbes Under 30.

Responsibilities:

• Run U30 Twitter and Instagram
• Write weekly U30 newsletter
• Create and maintain U30 honoree database
• Assemble U30 packages
• Edit U30 homepage
• Assist in the logistics of summit planning
• Cover U30 news and write U30 stories
• Fact check Forbes Magazine on a bi-monthly basis
• Assist in U30 community initiatives
• Manage U30 inboxes

The ideal candidate:

• Social media management experience preferred
• Experience writing and editing (2+ years)
• Expert organizational skills and extremely deadline oriented
• Strong skills in data management and project organization
• Journalism background and business experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree required.

The annual base salary range for this role is $57,500 - $57,500.
