Position: Roofing/Waterproofing Technician Trainee International Leak Detection is currently seeking mature, responsible field technician trainee for our Illinois location. Responsibilities · Testing of roofing/waterproofing membranes · Locate, document and report membrane defects · 85% + travel per week, to various states. Overnight stays required · Interact positively, face to face with clients · Comfort using technology. Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook · Use and maintain electronic equipment · Ensure all aspects of an assigned task are completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner to the highest quality standards Working conditions · Required to perform physical work outdoors, at heights, year-round in all weather conditions · Must have flexibility in schedule to accommodate varying job requirements · Walking, standing and bending for an extended period of time. · Able to lift 50lbs · Other duties as assigned Qualifications · Minimum grade 12 education · Must be proficient in English (oral and written) · Previous construction experience considered an asset · OSHA 30 certification considered an asset · Must have clean criminal record · Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Benefits · Paid training · Starting wage is above the industry standard · Compensation package includes 401k · Other bonuses and perks Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $50,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off Application Question(s): • Are you able to travel throughout the U.S.A. from Monday to Friday?
