General Laborer/Thawing

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team in thawing department in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role involves working collaboratively on the assembly line, carrying products of meat, working in cold environmnet. Duties • Operate heavy machinery (1 year minimum experience with sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks). • • Maintain constant communication with the supervisor to ensure the microwave line is functioning smoothly with the supply • • Detail-oriented • Maintain product integrity • • Report any discrepancies immediately • • Good communication skills • • Store materials neatly in appropriate/designated storage locations. • Consolidate materials to save space • • Perform quality checks on time-sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items through interaction with Merchandising. • Perform recovery function. • • Open frozen product and ensure the product is in good condition for use. • • Verify that reserves are properly recorded and check the count of each reserve pallet. • • Continuously check and remove damaged products to ensure that only quality products are maintained. • • Report any food safety and quality concerns to your manager and/or quality team. • • Participate in all training sessions, including those related to safety and complex processes. • • Report any issues to the Manager.
