General Ledger Accountant
Job Description
Join our client's finance team as a General Ledger Accountant and play a crucial role in managing the company's financial records and ensuring accuracy in reporting. If you're detail-oriented, analytical, and have a passion for accounting, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
- Assist with audits and tax filings.
- Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA certification preferred.
