General Ledger (GL) Accountant

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Prepare journal entries
• Reconcile financial statements and accounts
• Ensure data accuracy
• Confirm process compliance
• Confirm proper documentation
• Assist with auditor requests

 

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Bachelor or associate degree in accounting, or in a related specialization
• At least 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting, or similar
• Proficiency in accounting and business management software, preferably with NetSuite 
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards and regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong time-management and organisational skills
• Positive attitude, excellent collaboration and a team player

Nice-to-Haves:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate 
• Experience with NetSuite
• Experience in a production business
• Startup experience
• Big-4 audited company experience, or auditor experience
• Strong communication skills

Location: Flexible working arrangement. Should work from the office in SF Bay Area, CA, 2-3 days a week.
