Job Duties:

The General Manager will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and be responsible for leading and managing the In-Building Solutions (IBS) Product Family. The General Manager will plan and direct all aspects of the IBS operations to ensure all key objectives and operating metrics are achieved. The General Manager will partner with the Executive team for program planning, annual budgeting, operation goals, and staffing needs. They will also provide recommendations to the CEO in annual IBS operational planning and long-term strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Enforce company policy and procedures to cultivate an environment of accountability that adheres to CE’s Core Values.
  • Support a company culture of peer accountability, and hold direct reports accountable to meet delivery dates.
  • Provide effective and inspiring leadership for IBS/DAS Sales, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Project Management, Installation, Testing, Integration, and Systems Maintenance/Monitoring functions.
  • Implement and lead a continuous quality improvement process throughout the organization, focusing on systems/process improvement.
  • Promote effective communication within the department and throughout the organization.
  • Achieve the company’s IBS/DAS revenue, gross profit dollars, and EBITDA targets.
  • Lead a high performing team of managers to the next level by further developing and implementing recruitment, training, and retention strategies.
  • Partner with the CEO to develop strong relationships with vendors, partners, and customers
  • Ensure that all business activities operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of the company
  • Prepare and submit an annual operational budget for approval, manage effectively within this budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
  • Ensure the continued financial viability of programs/services through sound fiscal management.
  • Provide programmatic leadership and input for all strategic planning processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in a Senior Management role within Telecommunications, IT, System Integration, or service-related business.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.
  • Ability to partner with the dynamic leadership team.
  • Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the corporate mission.
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-moving environment while driving clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems
  • Must possess a valid driver’s, have a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in business or related field preferred.
