Position Overview
Reporting to the Executive Committee and Chief Strategy Officer, the General Manager, Fortune Live Media will take a leading role in building out a new team that will focus on identifying and building opportunities for Fortune brands to pioneer impactful event experiences that grow revenue, engage global audiences, and amplify the voices of decision makers around the world.
You will lead a newly created team that will oversee multiple existing premier events and communities as well as establishing and growing new ones. You will grow these events and leverage our ability to create world-class experiences to fast-track revenue growth from both attendees and sponsors. You will be responsible for creating a clear vision, strategy and metrics, gaining alignment amongst key stakeholders, and empowering the team to implement this vision.
You will build and supervise a team across various disciplines, who will be responsible for:
- Event execution, experience, operations and production
- Project management and commercial programming
- Speaker logistics and on-stage production
You will work very closely with the following teams:
- Live Media Sponsorship sales
- Editorial, including social media group
- Content and membership growth
- Events teams in Asia and Europe
This team will be responsible for building out existing event franchises, launching new franchises, taking our brand to new international markets, and generating more commercial opportunities that bring value to our members and clients. Success will include working closely with our executive team and our newsroom and sales teams.

Qualifications:
- Have 10+ years’ experience growing international events businesses
- Have 10+ years in the content and media industry.
- Have 5+ years managing people
- Strong network of high-profile C-suite leaders, talent, agencies and brands
- Superior communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functions and departments
- Deep understanding and knowledge of sponsorship sales and activation
- Have experience in a matrixed organization and demonstrated success
Compensation Range:
Base Salary: $250,000.00 - $350,000.00 & Bonus Eligible
