Full time, permanent, 42.5 hours per week

Salary up to £29,278.73 per annum plus van and fuel card

About the Role

As a General Operative, you will play a key role in delivering damp and mould remediation services to housing properties within the Rotherham area. This position requires excellent organisational skills, technical proficiency, and a customer-focused approach. You will be responsible for conducting remediation works, ensuring timely completion to high standards, and adhering to all safety, quality, and compliance requirements.

Principal Accountabilities

• Carrying out multi-skilled duties on void and occupied properties which has been damaged from damp and mould
• Responsible for joinery works to include replacing skirting boards, doors, door frames and windows
• Carrying out patch plastering and redecoration
• Undertaking plumbing works to include fixing leaks and installing new fixtures to include ventilation systems
• Replacing doors, windows and any other surfaces which could be damaged by damp and mould
• Responsible for wearing the provided PPE, provide high levels of customer care and ensure works are carried out high industry standard.
• You will adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures at all times

Key Criteria

• Experience in the above accountabilities
• Full valid UK driving licence
• Be in a core trade in either plumbing or carpentry and be able to carry out multi-skilled duties
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to manage sensitive customer situations
