JOB SUMMARY:
The Frontend Developer is responsible for implementing technical solutions for client challenges. The candidate must accurately produce expert code that is well documented, tested, and conforms to functional and non-functional requirements.
The Frontend Developer works in partnership with project team members across all capabilities and is responsible for effective communication, documentation, developer mentorship, appropriate escalation, effective quality control, and proper risk management.
The position will report to Director of Technology and can be remote or a part of our Chicago or Detroit office.
This role can be remote or a part of our Chicago or Detroit offices.
*While our offices are currently open, daily in-office attendance is not required.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Expert coder in C# and .NET (MVC)
• Hands on experience with contemporary front end web development (HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Less, jQuery, Vue, NodeJS and AJAX)

• Hands on experience with Microsoft technology stack: Visual Studio, MS SQL, Windows Server
• Hands on experience sending and receiving data transfer formats JSON, XML, etc...
• Hands on experience with REST and SOAP
• Experience with JIRA, BitBucket (Git), Slack, Teams, Sharepoint and Bamboo is a plus
• Can read and write functional specs'

• Can effectively communicate scope creep
• Is comfortable guiding clients and project managers through complex technical architecture

REQUIREMENTS:

• Modern front-end frameworks, Vue preferred.
• Writing maintainable and testable code.
• An eye for basic design as well as UI/UX.
• The ability to communicate effectively with both tech and non-tech-oriented team members and clients.
• Must have strong communication skills (code comments/interoperability)
• Must be highly motivated, self-starter
• Must be adept at problem solving
• Must be highly organized
• 5+ years of development experience within a collaborative team environment is preferred
• Experience working in a digital agency and/or Ad Tech is a plus.
