Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This position is located in the Air National Guard, Mission Support Group, Logistics Readiness Squadron, Materiel Management Flight, Equipment Accountability Element of the Customer Support Section.
DEFINITION OF AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION:
Area 1 = Enlisted (E4 - E6) members of the Louisiana National Guard.
Area 2 = Applicants who are eligible for immediate membership and employment in the Louisiana National Guard.

THIS IS AN "OBLIGATED" POSITION DUE TO FORMER INCUMBENT ACCEPTING A TITLE 32 USC ACTIVE GUARD/RESERVE TOUR. SHOULD RESTORATION RIGHTS BE EXERCISED, PRESENT INCUMBENT WILL BE SEPARATED AS A MILITARY TECHNICIAN. THE INCUMBENT WILL BE ENTITLED TO ALL LEAVE AND INSURANCE COVERAGE AS A PERMANENT EMPLOYEE AND COVERAGE IN THE FEDERAL EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEM (FERS)/FEDERAL EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEM-REVISED ANNUITY EMPLOYEES (FERS-RAE)/FEDERAL EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM - FURTHER REVISED ANNUITY EMPLOYEES - FERS (FRAE) RT. IF FORMER INCUMBENT DOES NOT EXERCISE RESTORATION RIGHTS AFTER FIVE (5) YEARS FROM THE TOUR BEGINNING EFFECTIVE DATE, POSITION WILL BECOME PERMANENT.
1) National Guard Membership is required.
2) Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
3) Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
4) May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: ENLISTED (E4 -- E6)
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must maintain appropriate level of security clearance.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must posses at least Twenty-four (24) months experience analyzing, developing, evaluating to improve supply programs, policies, procedures, techniques, etc; experience involving the control of supply stocks and accounting for equipment; knowledge of supply functions, cataloging, maintenance, and disposal procedures; understanding of cost estimates, budgets, or funding management; experience conducting extensive searches for required information; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support; experience requiring person-to-person contacts to convey information and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc.
Education
You must provide transcripts and/or other documentation as proof to support your Educational claims, and receive credit to meet the Education requirements for this position.
