General Surgery opportunity in Charlotte metro:

Position Highlight:

This is a bread and butter general surgery opportunity.

              Join three General Surgeons covering ACS ED call only and 4 trauma surgeons covering trauma call. 

o    There will be an occasional day or two per month of paid trauma call.

                  Piedmont Medical Center a Level III Trauma Center and will be designated as a Level II Trauma center Fall 2025.  As the main campus, it averages 70,000 ED  visits annually

o    Fort Mill has approximately 30,000 visit and Gold Hill Free Standing ER has another 30,000 visits

              3 NEW da Vinci Xi Robots between both campuses

                Interventional Radiology Service support

              Practice evidence-based urgent/emergent general surgery and trauma coverage

              Typical work week: Surgeon will work in 2-3 days in clinic and 2-3 days in OR. Shifts will include rounding on inpatients, new consults and urgent/emergent cases in the OR.
