As a GEOINT Modeler, focused on supporting mission operations tradecraft, you will be developing, testing, and rapidly deploying solutions to help answer key intelligence questions around asset tasking and content collection.

For this high-energy, results-focused work, you must have a strong passion for processing, presenting, and integrating data focused on speed, accuracy, and solution stewardship. As a valued contributor to our team, your responsibilities will include (1) identifying, developing, and integrating model solutions into existing technical architectures (2) defining and documenting the production and management of these solutions 3) testing and evaluating solution readiness to ensure results align to mission objectives, (4) supporting modeling, automation, and development projects leveraging enterprise software.

This work will require hands-on, collaborative brainstorming, and problem-solving from the user's perspective guided by direct partnerships with mission operators.

GEOINT Modeler Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must have active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Security + Cert (CompTIA)
  • Process analysis and process modeling experience
  • Data and software analysis, reporting, evaluation, and testing
  • Data and software integration into technical architectures
  • Data preprocessing methodologies and pattern development
  • First-order logic diagraming
  • Data visualization tools
  • Dashboard design and development
  • System Administration knowledge
  • Demonstrated knowledge in automation and workflow development
  • Implementation of security architecture based on Enterprise mandated security services
  • Experience in modeling and automation software
  • Logic-based software with decision trees and algorithms
  • Active Python skills OR active use of sense-making programs like MIST and JEMA

BS in Computer Science with 7-9 years of experience in building models and data science solutions, OR MS Degree with 5-7 years designing and deploying models in operations OR over 15 years in defense or intelligence community supporting GEOINT data management and processes that utilize automation and modeling

GEOINT Modeler Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of GEOINT life-cycle, product and service offerings, and needs of GEOINT partner customers
  • Experience leading Python development and GUI data modeling solutions
  • Agile Project Management
  • Technical Requirements Management
  • Experience in Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana
  • Familiarity with REST API usage and development
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies
  • Rapid Prototyping design and development
  • VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
  • Working knowledge of the OSI model and understanding of the interactions and dependencies of different layers
