Geospatial Content Lead

THE POSITION ALLOWS YOU TO WORK FROM HOME FOR ~ 50 % OF THE TIME

North Point Technology is looking for a Secret Cleared Google Earth Enterprise Software Engineer to support a critical mission out of Herndon, VA.  

Successful candidates for this position will have training (BS) in a science or technology related discipline, multiple years of experience in systems engineering, and previous experience working within a team environment utilizing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other agile software methodologies and processes. The ideal candidate will also have experience with ESRI products including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, Google Earth Enterprise Server, Linux command line, and AWS, and will be able to coordinate geospatial content updates and modifications with product owners, GVS customers,  and users.

Applicants should be self-motivated, fast-paced, curious problem solvers with a BS in Computer Science or related field, plus the following skills/experience:

• Minimum 2 years of geospatial domain experience preferably using ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Enterprise
• Understanding and preferred prior management of OGC compliant geospatial content
• Prior experience working with one or more of the following environments and applications: 
      Red Hat Linux
      AWS
• Experience working within SAFe or other Agile Release Trains
• Demonstrated experience working across multiple teams and job functions; bridging both sustainment and enhancement priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Security Clearance Required:  Minimum Secret require to start, with the ability to obtain Top Secret
