WSP is currently initiating a search for a Geotechnical Engineer for our Dallas, Texas office.

Your Impact

• Planning, estimating, and conducting subsurface investigation and laboratory testing programs in soil and rock
• Perform field observations, logging, and overseeing field activities
• Performing geotechnical analyses and design of shallow and deep foundations, embankments/cuts, and earth retaining systems for transit/transportation/highway projects
• Preparing geotechnical memoranda, data and design reports
• Providing geotechnical support during construction
• Capable of using commercially available geotechnical software
• Perform Pavement Design and Pavement Management

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of geotechnical experience
• BS in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical Engineering focus
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability and willingness to travel for field work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of CAD and GIS systems
• US PE license or EIT
