Job Summary

AEI is looking for a Full-Time Geologist in Training I / Geotechnical Engineer-in-training. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assimilation of Geotechnical Reports
• Supervision of Drill Crew on routine projects
• Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s) with assistance from Geotechnical Engineer or Professional Geologist
• Assist with Mineral Reserve Studies

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 Year degree from accredited institution
• Pursuing Geologist in Training Certificate or Professional Engineer Licensure for a Geotechnical EIT
• Ability to lift 50 pounds 50 times per day. Occasionally required to lift 150 pounds (about once a week).
• Work will typically occur in all types of weather and around significant construction equipment with exposure to dirt, grease, oils, etc.
• Walking over various types of terrain is required such as low lying swampy areas to mountainous, rugged terrain. Significant time spent bending or kneeling during each day.
• Most drilling operations require out of town stays
