Geotechnical Project Manager
Job Description
ESP is currently seeking a Project Manager with interest and experience in geotechnical engineering to join our team in Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to continue to grow your career with a well-established firm!
Responsibilities:
• Project Management duties to include proposal preparation, managing leading and/or performing field engineering and laboratory testing, engineering analysis, report writing, consultation, invoice preparation, client contact and correspondence.
• Field exploration and soil classification
• Technical analysis and reporting
• Review of field test data
• Performing field evaluations and inspections
• Client management interaction
Position expectations include technical abilities in some or all the following:
• Shallow and deep foundation analysis
• Pavement design and analysis
• Slope stability analysis
• Interpretation of laboratory test data
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is preferred, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment. If registered in other states than Texas, must have the ability to obtain reciprocity in Texas within 6 months
• 5+ years of experience is preferred
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.
